Keough’s legal stance is grounded on a statute of limitations, arguing that the bank missed the deadline to file a claim by January 12, 2024, a year after Presley’s death. Additionally, Keough asserts that her mother had only guaranteed interest payments on the loan from 2010 to 2015, not the principal balance.
Riley also announced three weeks ago that she will publish her mother’s post-humous book, further honoring Lisa Marie’s memory and sharing her story with the world.
